Pppprobably the Tiamat she gets along with best/likes most! She sees him as very similar to herself, and is really grateful for his level-headed nature, even if she gets annoyed that he isn't 100% on her side- she thinks if he understands her so well, he should be on her side about beating up Ed. :( But she likes him, and once she gets more phantom thieving memories back, might want to get into PHANTOM THIEVING CONTESTS with him.

Nightingale -> Spark

CONFUSING because she. actually thinks he's an interesting person. but she's also really jealous of him because Bluebird but she tries so hard not to be. She genuinely thinks he is a better match for Bluebird than herself. So she just tries not to think about it. She does owe him drinks and she intends to follow through on that when she can trust herself to not turn into an emotional babbling mess.

She does think he is kind of dumb though. Like. She needs to kick his face in for being a butt to Bluebird in memories.

Kaito > Diamond

HE LIKES HER, still feels like he's the Tiamat he understands the most due to their similarities, finds her funny and engaging and a joy to talk with, etc etc. Though lately he has found himself a bit frustrated with her (ALONGSIDE ED, ofc, it's not just her it's both of them). He thinks it's okay for her to be upset by the stuff Ed says, because yes, Ed is insensitive at times. And he himself has gotten really angry before, so he empathizes with her there. But he is super attached to the idea of Tiamat at least pre... tending to be a functional unit, and he thinks Diamond's tendency to get violent at people she's upset at is nnnot something Tiamat needs at all. It's why he was so firm about getting her to at least agree to let Clover and him mitigate instead of her jumping at the chance to slam Ed's face to the ground. Especially when he knows violenceing Ed won't do a thing to help anything. He won't force her to compromise where she can't, but he does want to prevent more in-game explosions from happening, so he is determined to step in the way the next time she tries to throw a swing at a teammate's direction. NO DIAMOND VIOLENCE IS BAD PLZ DON'T HIT TEAMMATES EVEN IF THEY ARE DUMB. 8(

He's also side-eyeig the whole "I wouldn't mind killing or hurting another team in a game" a bit but he's very... anti-death, anti-serious physical injury, and hasn't had a game that has forced him to compromise those ideals yet. Yes, if there was a game where they had absolutely no choice but to play like that or else there would be a huge massacre (like that Cry Wolf game) then he'd see along her lines, but in any other game he'll wholeheartedly argue against it. HE'D LIKE TO COMPROMISE WITH HER ON THAT SOMETIME SOON TOO. . . maybe be like "I won't play cards that mess with people's minds if you don't kill people," or something. WE SHALL SEE.

Spark > Nighingale

NOT A WHOLE LOT HAS CHANGED. . . he still enjoys talking to her, still doesn't r... really trust her because in his mind she has done a lot of really dumb things that could get her seriously injured or really upset Bluebird. But Spark is still this weird person who can really like someone despite not trusting them, so idk. He has vodka in that Takshaka post, it is time to cash in on those drinks /o/!!

She actually... has conflicting feelings on Belt. Like, she thinks Belt might actually be a good person. But she is too damn good at sleuthing out Nightingale's feelings, and she does not respect Nightingale's telling her to fuck off about feelings, so it gets sort of :T reactions out of her. Still, she is actually helpful and not unintelligent, so. Would talk to/drink with more? She's roughly level with Spark? Spark gets bonus points on not prying into her feelings so much, Belt gets bonus points on not being linked to sexy thoughts in any way.

She sees Nightingale as a person she wants to know more about and try actually friending at... Except Nightingale keeps rebuffing her. So it just makes Belt try harder, because she doesn't really deal with 'no' well so much as takes it as a challenge. She does weirdly like Nightingale, and would very much like to be friends..?

Belt definitely thinks she's easier to talk to when drunk, though.

YOU'RE A PROBLEM SPARROW

Nightingale is suuuuper-fucking-dere for Sparrow. She won't admit to this because she fucking sucks at feelings, but she genuinely loves Sparrow a lot and is trying her very best to be a good sister figure. She just. Fucking sucks at that, too. But as much as she crushes on Bluebird, she also wants to protect Sparrow more- She thinks Bluebird can take it better, but she just really wants to keep Sparrow safe and happy. (Sparrow's Faces are just fucking unfair.)

She is also aware she is a horrible mess and really grateful that Sparrow is there for her, but she tries her best not to let Sparrow see just how bad off she is. Because Sparrow would just start having Feelings and be Upset about things and she doesn't want that. :( She really wishes she could be the help to Sparrow instead, but... lol.

Sparrow thinks of Nightingale as a big sister! a. big sis with a lot of problems and family that needs punched but a really good heart who should be happy!!! so there's a lot of unreserved love and affection (you will never escape it so you take your cuddles and deres and like it young lady) as well as concern and fussing!

she's still got A Lot of internal guilt over how much of a fucking trainwreck Nightingale was after the Nyssa game and is coping with that guilt by trying to bond with Nightingale and make that up to her by being even more sisterly than before and helping her with her problems when she needs help!

ALSO their social link is to the point that Sparrow feels totally comfortable teasing Nightingale and being a pest (see: what she did in the Rotten's game) so enjoy that part of having an imouto, Nightingale.

okay i've babbled so much about them on plurk lately but w/e here goes

NIGHTINGALE HAS A HUGE CRUSH ON BLUEBIRD it's ridiculous and she's ridiculous but she is so bad at feelings. She admires how strong and brave and devoted to her ideals Bluebird is, and Bluebird still takes the time to comfort her and make her feel like maybe she can be worth something too, and it's just a huge mess of dere feelings she doesn't even understand herself. And the fact that she's hot doesn't hurt either.

But. It's worth noting all of these problems came from Bluebird's admitting she could like Nightingale. She had literally never even considered romantic feelings about anything in Kyr up until that point- she just assumed it would never apply to her so didn't think about it, it never even occurred to her that it was possible. But she still doesn't believe what Bluebird said there- She thinks Bluebird was just being kind and trying to make Nightingale feel better, and she said it because Spark was there so there couldn't be any consequences for her saying it.

But she is ridiculously in love with Bluebird and is trying very hard not to be a complete mess, and Bluebird is actually really good for pulling her out of her shell and getting her to be a person again. She teases Bluebird because it's funny, and she thinks that's the kind of relationship they have, and tries very hard to be content with just that. She also wants to talk to Bluebird about that time she admitted she didn't want to go back to Sabra and maybe put out the idea of hey Bluebird you could totally come back to my world maybe if you wanted??? '-'?????? and she's also ignoring that time Bluebird implied feelings by omitting herself from mentioning Sparrow doesn't have feelings for Nightingale.

Nightingale basically views Maya as "one of Sparrow's clones" and doesn't think much of her past that. She thinks she's like Sparrow, very friendly and cheerful and too fucking energetic. She is a little bit very peeved about the GM game thing still, but she recognizes it was a small card and there was no malicious intent, at least. She's just a cranky butt.

Nightingale -> Wren

She's slowly starting to become more comfortable around him! She still doesn't quite know how to deal with him on a personal level. But after the last two Nyssa games, she would fuck up anyone who fucked with Wren without question. She's going to tell him what happened with that Devil's Advocate thing, and wants to look out for his safety! By. Sleeping him when things that would be unpleasant for him later. i'm so sorry, wren, she's trying

Diamond -> Ivy

Diamond really loves Ivy and is so grateful to have her there. On the other hand, Ivy's presence also terrifies her in some ways. She's worried that one day she's going to have to choose between Tiamat and Dawon to save and she won't be able to do it. Ed doesn't help- She thinks he would not care about killing Dawon, so she is extra scared there.

Other than that, though, having Ivy around to balance her and keep her cooled down is something she recognizes she needs and appreciates a lot- She knows she is too stubborn and hot-headed, but has immense trouble doing anything about that, so Ivy being like "hey chill the fuck out" is a good thing for her. And that she is willing to continue their relationship despite the amnesia weirdness is an extra good thing for her! When Ivy's around, she feels more appreciated than she does at Tiamat (sorry Tiamat), and loved, and shit's great.

She also really enjoys their stupid bickering fits because they're them and that's how they roll.
