Trivpos- Learning magic young
This memory opens with Aiya very young, perhaps five years old at most. She is sitting alone at her home, surrounded by a big pile of books, far too advanced for someone her age. All of them are on the same subject- magic. Of course, she can barely understand what is in the books, but that doesn't stop her from endlessly going over the parts she can. She can only glean a little, but that is all she needs to try.
She takes deep breaths to focus her mind, then looks at one of the closed books. She starts thinking hard- She can feel her own stats. She knows she has no class yet. Still, she feels that lack of a class... Someone who set themselves to the default no class could still use magic they had learned in others. But she couldn't learn magic like this...
She had never really paid attention to her stats or class before, but now they are starting to nag at her. With a huff, she mentally pushes at that empty class slot... and feels a give. With sudden excitement she wills her class to change, and feels her stats reallocate themselves as she is suddenly a mage.
She suddenly understands the books she was reading before that seemed impenetrable- and then feels a spell add itself to her list. Her very first spell... Wind.
She immediately rushes to the living room where her mother is reading, another pile of books next to her. (Those viewing the memory may be surprised, as her mother looks incredibly similar to Nightingale as she is now, merely a couple years older, even longer hair, and a happier expression.) Her mother looks up and asks what's wrong, to which Aiya excitedly asks her to watch.
With her new spell, Aiya lifts the top book off the stack and levitates it over to herself. Oh my, her mother smiles, did you find her wind wand? Aiya vehemently shakes her head, and proudly proclaims that she's a mage now, too, and even learned her first spell. Her mother looks at her again, this time with glowing eyes that immediately widen in surprise. She sets her book aside, and opens her arms, which Aiya immediately flies into for a tight hug, happier than she's ever been.
Her own little mage, her mother says, stroking Aiya's hair. You're already better than she was at that age, she says. If Aiya just practices hard and levels up, she'll soon be an even better mage than her... She's so proud of her. Aiya hugs her mother again, and says she definitely will, she'll be level 99 one day. Her mother laughs lightly, and ruffles her hair, causing Aiya to squeak and try to fix it. She's sure you will be.

oh my god my parents were nice oh god why this
