[And she wants to give her some kind of magical feel-good solution, but... She doesn't have one. She doesn't have anything that can help, because the Atroma are huge assholes and she just doesn't have anything that can make that better.]
[She mutters again. It's not anything Nightingale's said or done - she just isn't good at talking about stuff like this. Maybe that's why a little bit of weakness comes out, and her voice breaks as it does.]
I know - I know you don't have control over it, but - please don't leave. I need you, I-I can't do this alone.
[All of a sudden, it's like she doesn't have a choice but to believe that. She wouldn't know what to do if she didn't trust it. The idea of them being separated is almost surreal.]
They brought us here together and gave us both our memories back for a reason. Maybe... They'll keep us together for that same reason.
It's from before, when they did the heart game things... Our augments glitched out, and we could see things... And then our memories of it were erased afterwards. I wrote it all down, thankfully.
But one of the things I noticed then was that there was a weird energy to the ship. The ship felt alive, apparently. So, if the ship is alive, and sustained by that flow of energy... If I can find that energy again, and tamper with it, we can kill it.
But if they did just shut down our ships and start another cycle... We've got proof of another cycle that happened to. And they weren't just sent away and separated by the Atroma.
If we could just get an answer from them about how they managed it...
[She doesn't say it in case they're being recorded, but there's a tilt in her voice that seems to reference something - she's wondering about the ball they mentioned, the one where they might find valuable information.]

[She means it, too.]
As long as you want me with you, I'll be here.

[It's a half-hearted attempt at lightening the mood, but you know what, she does want to believe it.]

[She hopes it will be, but after everything...]

[She lowers her head, resting her forehead against Natalie's.]

Maybe we can blow up the Marsiva and everything will be fixed.

... Should I mention that I've been making plans about that?

[She doesn't sound as enthusiastic as she usually would about this (Opal, please) but she definitely sounds interested.]

I should probably start with... It's going to sound crazy, but I'm pretty sure the Marsiva is alive.

[Would they just be floating in space regardless of whether the Atroma were around?

But I know the Atroma want it alive. So they're going to have to start communicating with us if they want it to stay that way.

Then again, there's so much space on the Marsiva we don't know about, maybe the Atroma are there.
