Nightingale, making mistakes and being set back doesn't mean that you shouldn't continue to try. It means that you need to re-evaluate your position and change tactics. We can and will fix this; it's just a matter of finding the right path.

I know that you're afraid, Nightingale. [ she softens her voice. ] You hold yourself responsible for so much—too much. Every mistake, whether it's real or merely perceived as such, hurts. I know.

And I know that you likely want me to stay here, out of harms way.

But. [ Opens her eyes again, glancing up to catch Nightingale's gaze. ] We cannot do nothing. I cannot do nothing, and I don't say that just because inaction tears me apart inside. We need to investigate, we need to plan, and we need to fight back.

[She takes Bluebird's hand, squeezing it gently, like she's afraid, and stays unable to meet her gaze.]

I just... want the ones I love to be safe.
